About us
our storyA church family rooted in Chapel Hill
New Vision Outreach is a small, close-knit, non-denominational church. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and our doors are open to everyone.
Who we are
People just like you
Look around on a Sunday morning and you’ll find people filled with hopes and fears, joys and sorrows, strengths and weaknesses. The common thread is that we’re all committed to growing stronger and wiser through it all, together.
Our goal is to provide an atmosphere of loving acceptance, where people can grow spiritually through vibrant worship, honest friendships, a caring fellowship, constant prayer and compassionate concern for the world.

What we believe
the good newsSaved by grace, through faith
We’re a non-denominational Christian church. That simply means we aren’t tied to a denomination: our foundation is the Bible and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
- 1
God loves you.
You were made on purpose, by a God who knows you by name and loves you completely.
John 3:16
- 2
We all fall short.
Every one of us has sinned and missed the mark. None of us can fix that on our own.
Romans 3:23
- 3
Jesus paid it all.
Jesus died in our place and rose again, opening the way back to God for anyone who believes.
Romans 5:8
- 4
It’s a gift, received by faith.
We are saved by grace through faith, not by our works. Salvation can’t be earned, only received.
Ephesians 2:8–9
- 5
New life starts today.
In Christ, the old is gone and the new has come. And you don’t have to walk it alone.
2 Corinthians 5:17
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Joshua 20
aCity ofRefuge
In the Old Testament, God set apart cities of refuge: places of safety and mercy, where anyone in trouble could run and find protection.
That’s the kind of church we want to be. As a City of Refuge, we believe the Church should go beyond its walls, meeting real needs, building relationships, and bringing the love of Christ to every corner of our community.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Welcome to New Vision Outreach, where our doors are open wide to everyone, and our hearts shut to no one seeking to find a safe place for spiritual life, growth and fellowship.
What visitors usually notice first about New Vision is the tender presence of God in our worship gatherings. These times are marked with joyful worship, warm fellowship and relevant teachings from His Word — a combination that touches the heart and lifts the soul.
A closer look will prove that you are surrounded by people just like you — people that are filled with hopes and fears, joys and sorrows, strengths and weaknesses. The common thread being that we all are committed to growing stronger and wiser through it all.
Together, we are working to become like the church we believe Jesus wants us to be.
Our goal is to provide an atmosphere of loving acceptance, where people can grow spiritually through vibrant worship, honest friendships, a caring fellowship, constant prayer and compassionate concern for the world.
So whether you are a spiritual seeker just beginning your walk toward God, or a committed believer continuing your walk with Him, you can find a home at New Vision Outreach.
Please join us as we commit our lives in prayer, lift our hearts in worship, and extend our hands to serve in His name.
God bless you,
